Fill Dirt

Fill Dirt is a durable, compactable material made from a balanced mixture of clay and sand, sometimes containing small stones or soil particles. It is designed to create a stable, load bearing base for construction and landscaping projects where strength and compaction matter most.

Commonly used for site leveling, backfilling, and grade adjustment, fill dirt is ideal for filling holes, low spots, trenches, and uneven ground. Once compacted, it provides excellent structural support, making it a reliable choice for foundations, concrete slabs, driveways, patios, walkways, and retaining walls.

This material is also widely used for backfilling around utilities, raising site elevations, preparing building pads, and supporting sheds, fences, and hardscape installations. Its clay content helps it lock together when compacted, reducing settling and improving long term stability.

Fill dirt is not intended for planting or drainage applications, but it excels wherever a strong, firm, and compact base is required before finishing with topsoil, gravel, or concrete.
