Base Course Type 1

Base Course Type 1 is a dense-graded crushed aggregate engineered for high-strength road base and foundation applications. Produced to meet NMDOT Section 303 specifications, it typically features a maximum top size of 1 inch minus, blending coarse stone and fines for tight compaction and long-term stability. Type 1 is generally used where maximum strength, durability, and long-term performance are required.
