Limestone riprap 24 inch to 60 inch is the largest class of erosion control rock, built for extreme protection where water force, wave action, or slope severity is at its highest. These massive limestone boulders are commonly used to stabilize shorelines, riverbanks, dams, and levees, and to protect roadway embankments, bridge approaches, culvert outlets, and large drainage channels where smaller stone won’t hold. Because of their size and weight, 24"–60" riprap provides long-lasting resistance against erosion, washouts, and slope failure in demanding conditions.
