DOT #73 limestone, also known as #73 DOT stone, certified #73 limestone, dense-graded aggregate, or specification-grade road base, is a compactable blend of crushed limestone, smaller stone, stone dust, and fines produced to meet applicable state Department of Transportation requirements. It is commonly supplied as approximately 3/4-inch-minus material, although exact top size and gradation may vary by state specification and approved quarry source.
