Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Materials and Products

What types of materials can I buy on AggregateMarkets.com?
AggregateMarkets.com offers a wide range of bulk materials for residential and construction projects. These include crushed limestone for driveways, screened topsoil for lawns, pea gravel, bulk mulch by the yard, mason sand by the ton, decorative stone, and more.

Are the materials environmentally friendly?
Yes. We prioritize sustainability by offering non toxic mulch, recycled paving materials, and other environmentally responsible products suitable for projects with environmental requirements.

Can I trust the quality of the materials?
Absolutely. We work with trusted and reputable suppliers to ensure all materials meet high industry standards for quality and consistency.

What does sand, soil, or gravel cost?
Pricing varies depending on material type and quantity. All prices are clearly listed on our website per cubic yard or per ton.

How much material do I need?
You can use the quantity estimator on our homepage or consult our gravel gradation chart. For larger or more complex projects, our team can assist with custom calculations.

I cannot find the material I need. What should I do?
If a product is unavailable or you cannot find what you are looking for, please contact us at 888-379-0246 or shop@aggregatemarkets.com. Some specialty materials may require stock confirmation before ordering.

What is specific weight?
Specific weight helps estimate material volume. On average, one cubic yard of aggregate, sand, or soil equals approximately 1.5 tons. This is an estimate only and may vary by material type. Use our calculator for a more accurate result.

Do you offer spreading or placement services?
In some cases, drivers may perform a tailgate dump if requested, although an even spread cannot be guaranteed. We also offer spreading and placement using heavy equipment such as skid loaders or excavators for an additional fee. Please inquire when placing your order.

Can I order different materials in one delivery?
Technically yes, but this is not recommended. Materials will mix in the truck and cannot be separated upon delivery. We strongly advise ordering separate loads for different materials.

How deep should topsoil be for landscaping?
A depth of 4 to 6 inches of topsoil is recommended for lawns, flowers, shrubs, and small trees. Larger plants or trees with deeper root systems may require additional depth.

What type of sand or soil do I need?
The right choice depends on your project. Construction projects often require mason sand, while gardening projects typically use screened topsoil. Our team is happy to help you choose the correct material.
