How to measure for Limestone

  1. Measure the length and width of the area in feet. For circular areas, measure the diameter instead.
  2. Choose the depth of your layer in inches. Decorative layers and walkways usually need 2-3 inches, driveways 4-6 inches.
  3. Enter the dimensions in the calculator above to get the volume in cubic yards and the weight of Limestone in tons.
  4. Add about 10% for compaction and settling, and round up to the nearest whole ton when ordering.
