#67 granite, also known as #67 stone, washed granite, clean crushed granite, or granite drainage aggregate, is a clean, angular stone commonly used for drainage, concrete production, surface finishing, and landscaping. It typically contains granite particles ranging from approximately 1/4 inch to 3/4 inch, with little to no stone dust or fines. Standard #67 gradations generally pass a 1-inch sieve, with most material passing the 3/4-inch sieve and retained above the finer sieves.
Because #67 granite combines several smaller stone sizes, the particles settle together evenly while maintaining open spaces for water flow. Its rough, fractured edges help the aggregate interlock and remain stable more effectively than rounded gravel, providing a dependable balance of drainage, durability, and surface support.
Compared with #57 granite, #67 granite is generally smaller and creates a smoother, more refined finished surface. #57 granite offers slightly greater stone size and structural support, while #67 granite is often preferred for driveway topping, walkways, concrete mixes, and installations where consistent drainage and easier placement are important.
