ROC / SROC, also known as shot rock overburden crushed, shot rock, overburden rock, or large structural fill stone, is a rugged, heavy-duty aggregate produced from blasted rock removed during quarrying and excavation. It commonly consists of large, irregular pieces ranging from approximately 6 inches to 18 inches or larger, depending on the source and project requirements.
Its substantial size, rough texture, and angular shape allow the rock to interlock naturally and create a strong mass that resists movement under heavy loads, runoff, and challenging ground conditions.
