Limestone sand

Limestone rock sand is a finely graded construction aggregate produced by crushing limestone into small, angular, sand-sized particles. Also used as a compactable limestone fine aggregate, it combines the workability of sand with the durability and interlocking characteristics of crushed stone.

Its fractured texture allows the individual particles to fit together more tightly than naturally rounded sand.
